The village of Vardhanpur still vividly recalls the three Rathore sisters – renowned as the most beautiful, virtuous, and accomplished young women in the community. Everyone believed they were destined for a life of luxury, marrying into affluent families. So, when all three sisters wed one after another within less than a year, the entire village rejoiced.
But exactly three months later, a torrent of devastating news arrived.
First month: The eldest sister, Priya’s newlywed husband, met with a fatal traffic accident on his way to work.
Second month: The middle sister, Deepa’s husband, suffered a fatal stroke while bathing.
Third month: The youngest sister, Anjali’s husband, was electrocuted in his study, dying instantly at the scene.
Panic gripped Vardhanpur. Villagers began to whisper amongst themselves:
“If this isn’t a cursed triple death, then what is it?”
“Those three sisters are too beautiful; they must carry a husband-killing fate…”
“We need to perform rituals to ward off bad omens immediately, or the whole family will perish!”
The Rathore family was plunged into deep mourning. Their elderly mother wept until she fainted, and the three sisters lived like shadows, too grief-stricken to even step outside.
The Shocking Revelation
However, one day, as a neighbor, Mr. Gupta, was repairing his security camera system after a storm, he casually reviewed footage from three months prior. The entire village was shaken.
In all three video clips, there was a strange, unsettling commonality:
A man dressed like a delivery driver, his face obscured by a hat and mask, approached each sister’s house. After he departed from each home, within just a few hours, the respective husbands tragically died.
The most terrifying detail: despite the three incidents occurring at different locations, the man’s build, gait, and actions were identical in every clip.
The police were immediately called in. After a week-long investigation, the man’s identity was revealed.
It was the ex-boyfriend of all three sisters.
He had once been in a relationship with Priya, the eldest, but she broke up with him to marry a wealthier man. Afterward, he secretly pursued both Deepa and Anjali, but both sisters rejected him.
Driven to madness by his vengeful heartbreak, he meticulously planned to poison or sabotage electrical equipment – the very things that caused the deaths initially deemed “accidents.”
On the day of his arrest, villagers crowded the police station gates, unable to believe what they were hearing:
“How could such a monster walk among us for so many years…?”
As for the three sisters – they survived the storm of public opinion, the immense pain, and the unjust accusations, still holding onto each other as they moved forward.
And from that day on, my village dared not utter the words “cursed death” again.
For it turned out, evil wasn’t lurking in the underworld… but hidden in the heart of a man with a human face.
