Actor Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, died at the age of 53 following a heart attack in England. Sources told India Today that he suffered a heart attack while he was playing polo. More details regarding his funeral and last rites are awaited. After his divorce from Karisma, he married model Priya Sachdev, and they share a son.

Actor and author Suhel Seth confirmed his death and expressed his grief in a post on X.

After hearing the news about Sunjay Kapur’s demise, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan rushed to Karisma Kapoor’s residence to offer her support. Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora and her family arrived at her home to offer condolences.

Sunjay’s last post on X was about the tragic Air India plane crash that took place in Ahmedabad today, June 12.

Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay got married in 2003, but their relationship soon deteriorated, leading to an acrimonious split in 2014. Two years later, the couple finalised their divorce. The businessman and the actor share two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan.
