The update, confirmed by sources close to the family, has sent a wave of sadness and fear through social media, as supporters pray for a miracle recovery.

🏥 A Battle That Was Kept Quiet – Until Now

Dipika, best known for her iconic roles in Sasural Simar Ka and as the winner of Bigg Boss 12, had been silently battling cancer, choosing to keep the details private to protect her family and newborn child.

Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, had only recently hinted at health challenges in one of his vlogs, asking fans to “pray for strength.” But few knew the severity of her situation — until now.

A family insider has confirmed:

“The surgery didn’t go as smoothly as hoped. Complications arose, and her condition turned critical in the ICU. The family is devastated.”

As news broke, “#PrayForDipika” began trending on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook. Thousands of fans have posted old clips of her shows, emotional tributes, and candle-lit photos in prayer.

“She’s always been a fighter. This can’t be the end.”
“I grew up watching her on screen. Please don’t give up, Dipika.”
“You gave us strength in our darkest moments. Now we’re sending it back to you.”

👫 Shoaib’s Silent Vigil – ‘He Hasn’t Left Her Side’

Shoaib Ibrahim is said to be in a state of emotional shock, barely speaking, and has not left Dipika’s hospital bedside since the surgery.

Close friends say:

“Shoaib is breaking down behind closed doors but showing strength in front of the family. He is praying nonstop.”

The couple’s baby boy, born just last year, is reportedly being cared for by close relatives as Dipika’s condition remains the family’s urgent focus.

🩺 Medical Update: ‘Not Giving Up Yet’

Doctors have stated that while Dipika’s condition is critical, she is under 24-hour intensive care, and they are “doing everything possible to stabilize her.”

Sources say she had been undergoing chemotherapy prior to the surgery, and while her body was weakened, she had insisted on moving forward with the procedure in hopes of long-term survival.

“She wanted to fight it head-on. She said she wanted to live for her child.”

Hospital mein bhi staff, nurses, alag-alag jagahon se aake bol rahe the, ‘Ma’am, aap theek ho jaoge.’ Dusre patients ke relatives bhi bol rahe the, ‘Hum aapke liye pray kar rahe the.’ Unke apne bachhe, father hain, lekin phir bhi woh mere liye dua kar rahe the. About Dipika’s first surgery

In his vlog, Shoaib shared details about Dipika’s first surgery. He said that her gall bladder and a small portion of her liver were removed. “Her tumour was taken out successfully. The gall bladder was also removed because of a stone. Since the liver had a tumour, a small part of it was also cut. There is nothing to stress about, as the liver is an organ that regenerates itself,” he said.
