Dipika Kakar’s Tumour Surgery Delayed, Actress Rushed To Hospital Due To High Fever

Dipika Kakar, who has been diagnosed with a tumour in her liver, was recently rushed to the hospital after she developed a high fever. In one of his recent YouTuber vlogs, her actor-husband Shoaib Ibrahim shared Dipika’s health update. He revealed that the actress’ surgery has been delayed due to fever and mentioned that even though the actress is currently hospitalised, she is feeling better.

“I wasn’t able to give an update previously as I was busy. Dipika’s surgery is still pending and we are looking forward to it. Dipika took a few tests last time when we visited the hospital and ever since then, Dipika has started to wean off Ruhaan,” Shoaib said.

“Dipika started weaning off Ruhaan after we got done with all the tests. We were then supposed to visit the hospital for the surgery. However, Dipika fell ill and started to have a high fever. Her temperature was more than 103. Moreover, she suffered from extreme body ache. She took several medicines but nothing was working during the time,” he continued.

Shoaib Ibrahim also shared that since Dipika is feeling much better now, doctors are likely to conduct her surgery to remove a tumour on Monday, May 26. “Finally, the tests are done that the doctor has asked. After the tests, we will get to know what exactly needs to be done. As I mentioned earlier, there’s a tumour in her body and that needs to be removed as well. The surgery will mostly be done next week once the remaining tests are done,” he shared.

Shoaib urged everyone to pray for Dipika and hoped for everything to get better.

For the unversed, earlier this month, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika was experiencing a lot of stomach pain over the last few weeks. Initially, she was advised to take medications, assuming it must be some infection. However, when the pain increased, the actress underwent a few scans, which revealed that there was a tumour in her liver.

“Our doctor asked us to visit again and when we met him, he asked us to do a CT scan and it showed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us,” he said.
