Investigation into the sudden death of Bollywood actress Shefali Jariwala is currently underway. According to sources close to the actress, two teams of Amboli police station are handling the case. The actress was cremated on June 28. All her close friends and acquaintances arrived to bid her a final farewell. On this occasion, her husband Parag Tyagi looked badly broken and very sad.

What is happening in this case now?

The source told NDTV, “Shefali’s postmortem was done at Cooper Hospital. Officials confirmed that the postmortem was video recorded.”

Amboli police said, “The postmortem report is being prepared by a team of 5 doctors. Its preliminary report is expected tomorrow.”

Initially, the case was investigated on suspicion of food poisoning. Later, the investigation also considered whether Shefali died due to some kind of poison.

The police is now investigating all aspects of Shefali’s medical history. The source said, “Which doctors was Shefali in contact with in the last 8 years. What medicines were prescribed to her and whether she took some medicines on her own without consulting a doctor. All these aspects are being investigated.”
